Libre EHR is an open source electronic health record system. Currently Libre EHR is under development. Once it reaches its minimal viable product state, it will be able to help doctors and medical facilities around the world. Allowing health care providers to effectively and efficiently administer to the needs of patients without cost for the most common and necessary functions. If you’d like to know how you an help make this a reality, scroll down to the “Development” section.
Libre EHR will always grow and improve upon it’s self. Starting out, we are building this project for ambulatory health care facilities. The EHR in its base state will not be designed for a specific medical specialty. At it’s core, Libre EHR will contain features needed for all types of medical practices. Libre EHR is written to be modular and customizable so that it can fairly easily be adapted to the workflow, regulations, and uniqueness of any specialty anywhere.
